Operational Shutdown Averted
Production restored inside 72 hours.
A manufacturer faced simultaneous supply chain failure and an industrial dispute. Production had halted, a key input supplier had stopped deliveries over arrears, and the workforce had issued a strike notice.
We deployed the same day, took incident command, and ran the two threads in parallel: emergency supplier negotiation leading to a standstill agreement, and direct engagement with the union alongside the client's HR director. A 72-hour stabilisation plan gave every stakeholder a dated commitment.
Production resumed within 72 hours, the strike notice was withdrawn, and a renegotiated supply agreement replaced the arrears position. We then rebuilt the supplier risk register and payment governance.
